Dr. Helene Pendl

Dr. med. vet. Helene Pendl is the founder and owner of Pendl Lab, a registered veterinary company focusing exclusively on diagnostic microscopy in exotic species. Her portfolio includes routine diagnostic services in haematology, cytology, histology and pathology in companion animals, zoo and wildlife species with a particular focus on birds and reptiles. Clients include private veterinarians, zoos, scientific institutions and conservation organisations. In addition to routine diagnostics and scientific collaborations, Dr Pendl provides international consultancy and training programmes (on-site and online) tailored to the specific needs of veterinarians, biologists and veterinary technicians in various professional settings. 

Dr Pendl has published in standard textbooks and journals for over 25 years and is a regular speaker at international conferences and postgraduate programmes. She is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV) and the American Association of Avian Pathologists (AAAP).
